How to choose
Picking the right Koogel cardstock and craft paper
Weight
Use 120gsm for folding and layering, 180gsm for home printing and scrapbook pages, and 230 or 250gsm for card bases and 3D boxes.
Size
A4 sheets measure 8.27 x 11.7 inches and letter sheets 8.5 x 11, while one 12 x 12 sheet cuts into four 6 x 6 cards.
Colors
Packs range from plain black or white to 60 colors with 2 sheets each, and the 180gsm colors are dyed through so cut edges match.
Finish
Our A4 glitter cardstock is 250gsm, with glitter on the front only and a smooth white back that takes glue and writing.

How people use our cardstock and craft paper
Card makers start from the base. A folded card needs stiffness, so the 250gsm letter and A4 sheets and the 230gsm 12 x 12 sheets are the ones that stand up on a mantel. Layers and printed inserts go on 120gsm or 180gsm paper, which runs through most home printers. The 5 x 7 pack skips the trimming: each of its 100 sheets is already the size of a flat card that fits an A7 envelope, in 50 colors. Most of our cardstock packs are acid-free and lignin-free, which slows yellowing on an album page. To turn gsm into the pound weights printers list, use our cardstock weight guide.
Folding paper is thinner on purpose. The double-sided origami squares are 6 x 6 inches, 250 sheets in 25 colors or 500 in 20, and a crane folded from them shows color on both faces. Our origami kit adds step-by-step instructions and googly eyes for animals, and the 300 round sheets, 6 inches across, fold into flowers and cupcake topper bases. Washi tape finishes an edge or labels a bin: 10 rolls, each 1 inch wide, that tear by hand and lift off without residue. In a classroom, one 60-sheet pack of 120gsm Koogel craft paper gives 3 sheets in each of 20 colors, light enough for small hands to cut and fold.

Questions
Questions about Koogel cardstock and craft paper
Will Koogel cardstock go through your home printer?
Sheets of 120gsm and 180gsm run through most home printers. The 250gsm letter and A4 sheets work with most inkjet and laser printers, but look up your printer's maximum paper weight first and feed a single sheet to test. For the 12 x 12 sheets you need a printer that takes that size.
Is Koogel cardstock acid-free for your scrapbook?
Most of it is. Our cardstock packs marked acid-free and lignin-free slow yellowing and brittleness on album pages. That covers the 180gsm A4, 5 x 7, 12 x 12 and 60-color letter packs, and the 230gsm 12 x 12 sheets. The paper in our origami kit is acid-free as well.
Which Koogel paper should you fold origami cranes from?
Use the 6 x 6 inch double-sided origami paper. It holds a crease and shows color on both faces, which matters when a wing folds back on itself. The 250-sheet pack has 25 colors and the 500-sheet pack has 20. Cardstock is too stiff for the small folds of a crane.
How do you cut Koogel 12 x 12 cardstock into cards?
One 12 x 12 sheet cuts into four 6 x 6 squares or two 5 x 7 card bases with little waste. The white 180gsm pack comes in 25 or 60 sheets for album pages and lighter cards, and the 230gsm pack has 100 sheets in black or white for sturdier bases.
